This giftis committed by the "AYALA" charity foundation and the "National Bank of Kazakhstan" in the framework of the republican "Breathe life" project. The project started in 2007 and within a few years, the "AYALA" foundation helped with medical equipment resuscitation department of children’s city clinical hospital for infectious diseases in Almaty and republican "Aksai" hospital. The project proves its effectiveness in that for example, that in the infectious diseases hospital in the Almaty city, infant mortality decreased by 4 times (!). The “AYALA” charity foundation this yearcompleted a very ambitious project to help children's resuscitation departments of maternity homes and perinatal centers across the country. Vital equipment receivedall regional perinatal centers of Kazakhstan, as well as all maternity homes and perinatal center of Almaty. After completion of this project, it was decided to continue the "Breathe life" project. Today, children's regional hospital of Kokshetau city received CPAP breathing apparatus designed for newborn care, resuscitation table, dosing syringe, phototherapy unit and patient monitor. The total cost of the equipment equals 6 670 100 tenge. General sponsor of the "Breathe life" Kokshetau project became the National Bank of Kazakhstan. “The National bank under the Rules ofproviding sponsorship and charity implements many social projects - noted in her speech the director of Akmola regional branch Gulnara Magzhanovna KHUSAINOVA, - the presented project today – is one of them. Over the 6 years we are actively cooperating withthe "AYALA" charity foundation and during that time rendered help on 60 million tenge. We understand the importance and significance of the assistance provided by the foundation to medical institutions, as each of them - the health of our children, young people of Kazakhstan. That's why we decided to support this project". “When Berik Darzhanov, thehead of themedical projects of the "AYALA" charity foundation came and became interested inthe needs of resuscitation department, I could hardly believe that the purchase and donation of this equipment in our hospital is not fiction. But today, I and all the staff of the resuscitation department were pleasantly surprised that the "AYALA" charity foundation kept its word. Many thanks to the National bank of Kazakhstan and all the staff of the "AYALA" foundation”,- said Kair ABDRAKHMANOV, chief physician of the Akmola regional children’s hospital. "Now, when after birth an illness is detected, a child does not leave in resuscitation department of a perinatalcenter, but transferred to a children's hospital. And if the children's resuscitation departments of maternity homesand perinatal centers are equipped with the necessary equipment to provide high-tech care to newborn babies, then in resuscitation departments of children's hospitals lacking such equipment and medical staff find themselves in tight situation. Doctors have experience, skills, but lack the tools for the treatment of the above patients. Therefore, the “AYALA” foundation considers this project, in fact, a continuation of the recently concluded republican "Breathe, baby" project - said vice-president of the "AYALA" charity foundation Zhangeldy SARSENOV. |
