03-04-2014 IN ALMATY HAS COMPLETED THE NEXT STAGE OF "BREATHE LIFE" PROJECT Todayin children's clinicalcity hospital of infectious diseases (CCCID) in Almaty city a ceremony of transferring new medical equipment to the resuscitation department held. This was a continuation of the "Breathe life" project, which since 2007 has been implementing by the "AYALA" charity foundation. Within this project the "AYALA" foundation helps equip resuscitation departments of pediatric infectious hospitals with modern equipment. Recall that since 2007, to the resuscitation department of the CCCID of Almaty city ventilators, digital laboratory, phototherapy devices and other medical equipment were transferred, and also capital repair was made. Beginning from 2012, help in equipping turns out and outside the southern capital. Modern equipment under the "Breathe life" project have received the resuscitation departments of regional children's hospitals in the Aktau, Uralsk, Kokshetau, Taraz, Atyrau cities and Sarykol central district hospital of Kostanay region. Chief physicianof the CCCID Erjan Koshtayuly Alibi said: “Our hospital provides care for children with various infectious diseases not only in Almaty, but nearby settlements. With the "AYALA" charity foundation we cooperating for many years and we see that all employees strive to make charitable aid as effective as possible. Headof resuscitation department of the CCCID Sergey Nikolaevich Khokhulya in one of the interviews said that the "Breathe Life" project, which is implemented in the hospital, helped medical staff reduce child mortality by 4 times. “The resuscitation and intensive care department has a great importance in any hospital, because exactly in these departments patients with the most severe health disorders concentrated. On the professionalism of doctors and nurses depend the child's life, and medical devices, which we pass in the resuscitation department greatly increases the chances of patients to live”- said vice-president of the "AYALA" charity foundation Zhangeldy Sarsenov. Total cost of equipment, which is transmitted today, is 4 689 500 tenge. The sponsor of this phase of the "Breathe life" project was a private person.
