In March 2014, the “AYALA” fund will celebrate its 7 th anniversary. Over the years, with the help of our partners and caring citizens of our country much has been done. The main activity of the foundation is to help children's hospitals, clinics, maternity hospitals and sanatoriums. The first major project was the equipping of resuscitation department of children's city clinical infectious diseases hospital (CCCID) in Almaty. This equipment has already helped staff of resuscitation to save many lives of seriously ill children. And how many will be saved in future? The department is renovated, the staff got uniforms. In April 2014 was realized the next stage of the "Breathe life" project. To the CCCID of Almaty city patient monitors and dosing syringe transferred. Also assistance to the Almaty City Children's Hospital № 2 was provided. For resuscitation department modern medical equipment was acquired.

The largest project of the foundation is the "Breathe, baby" project. In 2009-2011, all the children's resuscitation departments of maternity hospitals in Almaty city and a perinatal center received from our foundation a large number of modern medical equipment: breathing apparatus, resuscitation tables, syringe and infusion dosing, medical scales, electric pumps, phototherapy apparatus etc. After completion of this project in the Almaty city, at the beginning of 2011 we signed a Memorandum on cooperation and collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since then, the "Breathe, baby" project acquired the Republican status. Within this project it was assisted in the procurement of medical equipment for pediatric resuscitation departments of perinatal centers located in regional centers of our country. And in September, 2011 the necessary medical equipment received regional perinatal centers of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey and Karaganda cities. In 2012, the foundation transferred to the children's resuscitation departments of regional perinatal centers of Atyrau, Taraz, Aktobe and Kyzylorda cities vital medical equipment. Ministry of Health noted the foundation's work by gratitude on the Day of Medical Worker, and for the 20 th anniversary of the independence awarded the President of the foundation Aidan Suleimenova with a honorary badge «Денсаулық сақтау ісіне қосқан ұлесі ұшін» (Contribution to the development of healthcare in the Republic of Kazakhstan). In 2013-2014, modern equipment also received children's resuscitation department of regional perinatal centers of Shymkent, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Taldykorgan, Turkestan, Kokshetau Aktau and Uralsk cities. The "Breathe, baby" project has been successfully completed. This is indicated by statistics of medical institutions. Significantly increased the percentage of rescued babies with extremely low birth weight, and it allowed in 2013 to reduce newborn mortality rate by 17%. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev noted this fact in his report.

Children's hospitals and sanatoriums - not the only direction of the foundation, we also work with orphanages and boarding schools. Five consecutive years in conjunction with the "Dara" charity foundation our foundation holds a "Day of Smile" for the inmates of ALL orphanages of our city.

Held on 20 th of June, 2008 the first "Patron of Education" ceremony, held by the Ministry of Education and Science, President of our Foundation Suleimenova Aidan was awarded a gold medal for helping children's educational institutions. Aidan herself considers this award like a symbol of recognition of the work of the "AYALA" charity foundation.

The 2010 year was very important in the development of pediatric cardiac surgery in our country. Our foundation as a part of the Association of charity foundations participated in the "I also want to live" project. Under this project, a team of doctors from National Scientific Center of Surgery named after Syzganov was trained in cardiac surgery clinic of Bergamo, our foundation has twice passed in NSCS necessary for operations medical equipment. Due to this, in 2010, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists able to operate 292 children, 108 of them are weighing less than 10 kg. But before, such operations were rare.

In 2010, we began to help health and education institutions outside of Almaty within the "We are all - citizens of Kazakhstan" project. In the central district hospital (CDH) of Sarykol village, Kostanay region medical equipment were purchased and installed. In Sarykol village's kindergarten which was empty for many years and came in a deplorable state, a capital repair was made. Also, capital repair was made in junior sports school. 16 hospitals and maternity hospitals of Almaty region received from our foundation phototherapy apparatus.

In recent years the "AYALA" foundation pays great attention to boarding schools for children from low-income families and special (correctional) boarding schools. Within these schools children's sports and playgrounds were built, to workshops were transferred a large number of necessary equipment and supplies, room for social and domestic orientation was equipped, hosts a variety of holidays. Since 2010, the "AYALA" foundation pursues an active propaganda of celebration of the World Children Day. Within this day we spent a lot of useful and fun activities for children. In recent years our foundation is actively propagate small children's holidays. We called this project “Let's do good deeds (4D)”. Under this project we spend holidays for children confined to a variety of calendar dates. The World Day of spontaneous acts of kindness, the International Theatre Day, the lesson in the library, the International cartoons day, World Dance Day and others became traditional. 2 years in a row in Almaty and Astana the New Year's Project "Letter to Santa Claus" conducted.
