Our History

March 27, birthday of the Fund "AYALA". The Mission of our Foundation is to foster a culture and tradition of charity in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main purpose of the Fund is providing aid to public institutions to children's health and education.

The President of our Fund Aidan Suleimenova was awarded with a golden medal "The patron of Education” by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The feast was held for all inmates of children’s homes for the first time together with the Fund “DARA” located in Almaty. "Smile day" became an annual favorite holiday for children and teachers of children's homes.

Association of Charitable Foundations, organized on our initiative, launched a campaign to promote children's cardio surgery in the country. The project was named "I also want to live". "AYALA" Fund handed over a large quantity of equipment, tools and consumables for children whose weight is less than 10 kg to NSCS (National Science Centre of the Surgery) by Syzganova.

The first International Conference “Charity in Kazakhstan" was held in cooperation with the Fund “Bauyrzhan”. The Club of friends of "AYALA" Foundation was created, which was headed by our longtime friend and partner - Flyura Muhtarovna Batyrova (a founder of a chain of restaurants “Mamamia” and “Ciao pizza”). Famous Russian band “Yin-Yang” visited Almaty during opening of the Сlub of friends they visited the children’s home No.2 in Almaty.

The memorandum on cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Health of Republic of Kazakhstan was signed. The project "Breathe, baby" became a Republican project. In September new equipment was transported to the children's Resuscitation Perinatal Centres (RPC) in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey and Karaganda.

A Grand charity concert was held for the 5th anniversary of the Fund featuring world violin music stars such as Marat Bisengaliev. Funds raised during the concert aimed at helping Kyzylorda RPC. Within the Republican project "Breathe, baby" a modern medical equipment was received by the child resuscitation RPC in Atyrau, Taraz, Aktobe and Kyzylorda.

Rixos Borovoe bike ride was held in 2013. An Olympic champion, a famous Kazakh athlete Alexander Vinokurov helped raising funds to equip child resuscitation of Akmolinskiy RPC in Kokshetau. Baby resuscitation RPC in Shymkent, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Kokshetau, Taldykorgan got new equipment for the project "Breathe, baby".

The completion of the largest Republican project "Breathe, baby" was announced after the transfer of vital medical equipment to the RPC in Turkestan, Aktau and Uralsk. Maternity and perinatal centres received equipment and consumables for the sum of 337.5 million tenge under this project.

Children under care of fund took part in amazing musical event – awarding ceremony of MuzTV – “2015-'MUZ TV. Gravity” which was held in Kazakhstan for the first time. In Almaty and Astana were opened three save sight  cabinets. Joint with British-Kazakh Society was held first Charity Afternoon Tea, and first charity marathon — «BKS Аir Astana marathon». Also with the help of “AYALA” foundation, famous movie and theatre actress Chulpan Khamatova held a meeting with children from Almaty region orphanage No1.

In Kazakhstan was officially activated short number 9962 for SMS fundraising, raised money would help doctors to save children’s lives. That service is available for users of Beeline, Kcell, Activ and Tele2 mobile nets. Activation of the fundraising was realized as the part of the project “Breathe new life”.

Professors from South Korea visited Almaty twice, where held more than hundred consultations. Pediatric neurosurgeons get upgrade qualification courses in Pusan national university hospital.

The foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary. A contest among journalists Press Service for Good was held; the winners received trip tickets to Tbilisi, St. Petersburg, Hong Kong and Paris. A virtual School of Benefactor was created. AYALA Foundation organized the Kazakhstan premiere of Turn the Game Over play with Dmitry Malikov. Free consultations of Korean professors – an orthopedist and a neurosurgeon - were held in Almaty region. Following on their results, a girl from Kazakhstan was operated at Pusan National University Hospital (South Korea). For the first time in Kazakhstan an innovative hypothermia apparatus was installed.

Free consultations of doctors of Pusan National University Hospital (PNUH) in Almaty and Aktobe were held. For the first time a professor of PNUH, an orthopedic surgeon Lee Jung Sub operated Kazakhstani children at Aksay children's hospital for free. Training sessions for neonatologists of Kazakhstan with the involvement of specialists from Russia were held. The hairdressing classes for pupils of the boarding school No. 15 for children from low-income families were launched. A catamnesis room was opened in the Center for Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery in Almaty.
