This project is oriented towards socialization of children who were left without parents’ care and pupils of special (correctional) boarding schools. One of the most important tasks of educational institutions of such type is the preparation of children to independent life. For this purpose in orphanages and boarding schools the workshops for teaching children the primary skills of working professions were opened. To this range sewing, cardboard bookbindery and locksmiths workshops are related. Unfortunately, very often there is a lack of comfortable and modern equipment in these workshops.
The project “Skilled hands” has been launched in 2013, during this time 18 cabinets of sewing, carpenter’s and hairdresser’s were equipped in orphanages and boarding schools of our country. In total 5,2 mln tenge was allocated for this project.
