Children’s sanatoriums
Sanatorium (from Latin sano «cure, heal») – medical and preventive treatment facility
where the natural factors (climate, mineral waters, therapeutic mud, seabathing, etc.)
combined with the therapeutic physical training, physiotherapy and sensible nutrition
(diet) are mainly used while meeting treatment and relaxation compliance.

In children’s sanatorium children of pre-school age undergo rehabilitation. The sanatoriums specialize in different nosologies. Children stay at sanatoriums for 15 days. Among the patients there are many children from needy families, orphanages and child care centers.
