Adviser to the president of “AYALA” charity foundation Zhangeldy Sarsenov participated in a live program “Lessons of the crisis” on “Kazakhstan” channel. Together with the presidents of “Baurzhan”charity foundation, public foundation “Home”, representatives of major religious denominations and the public discussed the state of philanthropy in the global financial crisis. During the live program few problems were decided. For example, the issue of consultation of impaired child with professor in 5th Hospital of Almaty.
The main conclusion of the program was that the crisis has not diminished the number of sympathetic and generous people. Simply funds for charity these people were forced to spend less. But the crisis will pass and good people will again help from the heart to the needy. Charity foundations will do everything to make charity effective.
Our foundation continues to assist the resuscitation unit of children's hospitals of Almaty city. In the intensive care unit of 2nd City clinical children hospital we installed 4 universal stands. These stands are designed to organize the maximum space at the bedside of seriously ill children. Infusion pumps can be placed on stands (apparatus for accurate dose in time and quantity of the introduction of drugs), and syringe dispensers and containers for conventional intravenous infusion. Two fixed stands - they are attached to the bed and two - mobile they can quickly be moved to any bed room. According to staff of intensive care department this equipment is considerably facilitates the work of doctors and nurses and thus alleviate the suffering of children in serious condition.
In resuscitation of 1st child infectious hospital we presented a very expensive drug “Isoflurane”. This medication is used for the maintenance of anesthesia. In severe conditions it is sometimes necessary to give your child anesthesia. This would ease his suffering in the hardest stage of the disease. For safe maintenance of anesthesia this medicine is necessary. Thank to all those who helped us get this drug for the intensive care department for “Children’s city clinical inflectional hospital №1”.
