A press conference attended by a team of doctors that our foundation within the framework of “Association of Charitable Foundations” (with the charitable foundation “DARA” and Public Foundation “VOM”) sent to study in cardio surgical center of Bergamo city (Italy) was held in the Kazakhstan press club. Doctors of different specialties studied there for different time periods - from 1 month to six months. Doctors told the media about the results of their study and development prospects of pediatric cardiac surgery in our country. Currently 80% of children with congenital heart disease can’t reach 1 year age and 3 to 5 thousand children annually are born with the need of heart surgery in Kazakhstan.

Doctors say that the efforts of the “Association of Charitable Foundations” have helped to break the deadlock on this issue. We will continue working in this direction. We hope to the help of businessmen and indifferent people.
