An anniversary meeting of the “Association of Charity Foundations” was held in the building of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The establishment of the Association was declared at the same meeting one year ago. The executive director Bektas Gafurovich Mukhamedzhanov briefly submitted the results of the year. There were many of them. Mikhail Filonov, a president of the Public Foundation “Shyn Zhurekten”, made a presentation on the establishment of the information portal “Charity in Kazakhstan”. Silvia Galbiati and Ticiana Gualtieri, representatives of Public Organisation “International Assiciation of Social Projects” made a presentation. The representatives of the initiative group “The league of volunteers” Alina Yuldabaeva and Michael Koval presented the ways of volunteering development in Kazakhstan. The president of “Baurzhan” foundation Zhuldyz Aytbayev told about the development of the”Association of Charity Foundations”. This question provoked a lively discussion in the lobby. It was decided to begin a legal registration of the association as before this association did not form a legal entity, Membership in Association was voluntary and free. In order to solve better the issues which nonprofit organisations face on this stage, registration of legal entity has become necessary. Working title of this legal entity is the “Association of Charity Organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. The work in this direction has been already begun.
