Our foundation has implemented the project «To special children - special caring» long ago and it successfully continues to work. In the frameworks of this project we help special (correctional) boarding schools. The children with various disorders of vision, hearing, speech, intellect, etc. study at these schools. The children are aged from 7 to 17 years. Eventually, we realized that it is necessary to engage with children of pre-school age for achieving a successful correction. Thus the project «Play and develop» for providing help to correctional kindergartens was born. According to this project we provide equipment, developing games, educational materials for children with special needs to the preschool institutions. Most of such equipment is not produced in Kazakhstan and public preschool institutions have limited opportunity to acquire special equipment.

Correctional kindergarten №2 of Almaty city for children with intellectual development disorders
It was founded in 1961, and in 2011 a new building with a design capacity of 60 seats was built. It is a single kindergarten of such profile in the Almaty city.
There are 6 age groups for children from 3-7 years in the kindergarten. At present time 72 children with the diagnosis - mild mental retardation: Down’s syndrome, autism, expressive mental retardation attend the kindergarten. Children attend kindergarten free. Correction kindergarten №13 of Almaty city for children with vision disorders
It has been already working for more than 30 years. Now there are 90 pupils in the kindergarten, 15 of them are invalids (almost blind). In total, there are 6 groups. 3 groups study in Kazakh language, 3 groups – in Russian. Kindergarten № 24 of Almaty city for children with speech disorders
Kindergarten is a state correctional institution for children with serious speech disorders. In kindergarten there are 6 groups that are attended by 96 children from 3 to 7 years. They suffer from various speech disorders: general underdevelopment of speech, stuttering, dysarthria, nasality. By attending kindergarten the children have the opportunity to correct their speech defects and to enter general education school.
23 teachers work in the kindergarten, most of them have the highest qualification category. A logopaedist works in each group and conducts group and individual lessons. A psychologist, a teacher of Kazakh, music director also work with the children.

Correctional kindergarten №66 of Almaty city for children with serious speech disorders
It was opened in 1991. Education of children is conducted on Kazakh and Russian.
