Today the charity foundation “AYALA” organized an online grand opening of sensory room for the first time in the “Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Esil town” in Akmola region. With the help of Skype program we could get acquainted with those who this room was created for. The children expressed their gratitude by showing dances to all guests. At this meeting a mayor of Esil city Gaziz Aitmukhambetov, deputies, Maecenas, institution employees and parents were present. After meeting with the foundation “AYALA” a procedure of solemn ribbon’s cutting was held. Afterwards those who wish could see the present.   

A sensory room is a specially equipped space organized in such way that any person irrespectively of the age or health state feels calmness, comfort and safety in this room. As it was identified by English scientists, being in this room for a short period of time helps to relieve stress, reach complete relaxation, significantly improve emotional and physical health. A musical armchair-pillow, dry basin, fibro optical carpet “Milky Way”, mirror ball with motor and many other things were bought for the room presented to “Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Esil town”. The total price amounted to  1 990 200 tenge.

The financial resources were collected in the frameworks of project “Room-doctor” at the capital charity marathon “BKS Аir Astana marathon 2015”. The Prime Minister Karim Masymov, mayor of city Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, the board chairman of the Bank of Kazakhstan’s development Bolat Zhamishev and many other representatives participated in this marathon. In total there were about 700 runners. During the marathon 4 140 398 tenge was collected. Let us recall that a sensory room was opened for this money in Astana. The rest of money was transferred to the sensory room in Esil town by the charity foundation “AYALA”.  

At present time the “Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Esil town” is attended by 60 people. The children aged from 0 to 18 years enter this institution with serious diagnosis: microcephalia, Down’s syndrome, ICP, РДА, etc. According to the words of administration the cabinet is packaged fully with the necessary equipment but the material basis is still far from being perfect. The sensory room was in the list of necessary acquisitions and it became a perfect present before New Year!
