The final celebration of the project “Letter toGrandfather Frost” was held at the boarding school for children with intellectual disabilities in Astana.  50 pupils from low-income families of this boarding school wrote about theirs dream to the most important character of the New Year.  A New Year tree decorated with the children's letters stood in the shopping center "Keruen" the whole month. The New Year tree was emptied from the letters with children’s requests already in the middle of the second decade, resulting in 306 550 KZT collected for gifts.  Residents and guests of Astana were actively interested in this project and donated money for gifts willingly. The “AYALA” charity foundation expresses its great appreciation to our volunteers who live and work in Astana. Xenia Filimonova is especially worth mentioning, she was the supervisor of the project.  Also, we want to note the help of other volunteers of our foundaion, who took part in the implementation of this project. 

Children, who expressed their dreams on the pages of their "Letters to Grandfather Frost" a month ago came to the gym. There were a lot of vigorous, humorous, sports competitions and mini quizzes, in which children took an active part. As animators recalled later, there were a lot of children willing to participate.  According to the tradition of holding children's parties, all of them got sweet gifts from the shopping center "Keruen" and then Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden gave each child exactly what he asked in his letter. Children’s joy had no limits. Employees of the boarding school were also very pleased by the holiday.
