Today, a round table was held in a special (correctional) boarding school #9 in Almaty for children with severe speech disorders. The event was attended by teachers, employees of government agencies responsible for work with children's social institutions, a representative of the parent committee, as well as employees of charitable organizations which help the orphanage. The theme of the roundtable was the discussion of problems of rehabilitation and social integration of children with disabilities.

The meeting was very constructive; it has been a lot of opinions, which, in our view will be the basis of a productive cooperation between the government, NGOs and all interested in socialization and adaptation of children, who for various reasons are in the category of "special children".
