Another stage of the World Children's Day celebration today was held at the "Tabagan" sports complex. The participants of the sports holiday were 30 pupils of the boarding school #17 in Almaty for children from low-income families. Our foundation is trying to hold the World Children's Day differently and interesting, and what most importantly, we want to show the pupils from orphanages and boarding schools interesting places of our city. Most of these children are brought up in orphanages or in low-income, single-parent, dysfunctional families and have practically no opportunity to visit museums, libraries themselves and to go with friends to Medeo and Chimbulak. So today we brought boys and girls to the "Tabagan Tau" sports-entertainment complex.
After the arrival at this beautiful place children began to photograph - each other, nature, attractions. After that, we divided them into two groups, first group went sledding and the second received the first climbing skills. From the words of an instructor, some guys have a very good chances, if will be engaged in this sport. When sledding and climbing enough, the children went to the pool. The main fun starts here. Jumping into the water, diving, running to a warm jacuzzi – everything were so gripped children, that pulling them out of the pool had to almost "by the ears".
In the restaurant of the “Tabagan” complex by that time the table has been covered. The children with pleasure ate tasty treats. Still, after such physical exercise and outdoor, appetite played out in earnest. By the end of the holiday the children were so tired that they did not able to consider those gifts that we have prepared for them.
The budget of the event was 66,800 tenge. This money was spent only on transport and gifts because the "Tabagan" sports complex provided their services free of charge. On the behalf of the children we express our appreciation to the management and staff of the complex, which helped us to organize the sports holiday for children from low-income families.
