Very informative and fun was a celebration of a World Children's Day in Almaty observatory. Employees of this scientific institution thoroughly prepared to meet high school students from the boarding school № 17 of Almaty city. In this boarding school live and study children from low-income families, and without the help of the charity foundation would hardly have had the opportunity to visit the observatory themselves. Scientific workers in an interesting manner told about the history of the observatory, showed telescopes and other instruments for observing the planets and stars. The children were in awe of the beauty of our neighbor in the solar system - the Venus planet, which shines so brightly right after a sunset. An impromptu astronomy lesson no one could remain indifferent. Besides the children learned a lot, some of the children even showed their rather deep knowledge on the subject.
