In Uralsk 20 pupils of the Regional specialized school No. 8 for gifted children competed for the title of the most erudite one. They took part in the Air Astana intellectual tournament, organized by the AYALA Charity Foundation in a partnership with the airline company.

Participants divided into four teams of five people and were solving educational and entertaining tasks on the history of civil aviation. The winners were decided on from the results of two rounds and were presented with stylish backpacks and useful travel kits from Air Astana. The other participants also did not leave with empty hands: each child was presented with a modern colorful encyclopedia.

Earlier such tournaments were held in Aktau and Atyrau cities. This year the sponsor of the project – the Air Astana airline company - is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The flag carrier pays great attention to vocational guidance of high school students as the company regards them as potential highly skilled employees.
