A room of social and domestic orientation was opened in Almaty boarding school No. 4 for blind and visually impaired children named after N.Ostrovsky. It is designed so that children can learn to cook, serve a table, clean up an apartment and a kitchen, in particular, and also use modern home appliances.

By the way, children made the first dish and a cake under the guidance of a famous chef Roman Dubnitsky – a presenter of the program "Magic of a Kitchen" on "Khabar" TV channel. He conducted a master class for the children, told what ingredients in dishes could be combined and which ones were not desirable to mix. Children learned to choose foods and cut them properly. Also they learned how to not overdo with sauces.

It should be noted that equipment for the room of social and domestic orientation, including kitchen furniture, dishes, cutlery, tablecloths, napkins, towels and everything necessary for work in a kitchen, was purchased within the framework of the project "AYALA + SAMSUNG". In addition, Samsung Electronics has transferred a complete set of home appliances to the boarding school.
