Pupils of boarding school No. 15 for children from low-income families learned how cadets of a military educational institution live. They visited "Arystan" lyceum - one of the best specialized lyceums of the country.

The AYALA charity foundation arranged a tour to the educational institution for 29 students of the 7th, 8th and 9th grades. The children learned firsthand about the conditions under which their peers learn and train - the future military. The guests visited study rooms for tactical classes, a gym, a library, rooms of the lyceum students and a shooting gallery. There the boys looked at the training machines with great interest. Within the tour the children met with the lyceum students of the 9th grade. They, in turn, talked to the guests about their experience in passing exams.

The head of a psychological service of the "Arystan" lyceum a reserve colonel Alexander Kovalenko noted that such tours to the educational institution are not rare. "We are always open for schoolchildren and guests. Annually we consider candidatures of 1100-1200 children. Of these about 80 are accepted. It is that selection is tough," he explained.

Schoolchildren were leaving the lyceum with different moods: someone was hurrying to the bus, someone was running to take photos with military equipment, and someone was asking Alexander Kovalenko about subjects needed to improve for admission and about time of testing.

The AYALA  charity foundation is grateful to the staff of "Arystan" and to colonel Kovalenko for conducting the tour.
