How much money is needed to fulfill the New Year wishes of 1,114 children? AYALA Charity Foundation has spent 8 883 071 KZT on this. This money was collected in the shortest period of pre-New Year festivities. We want to list all our good wizards who helped children believe in miracles. Many thanks to the management and employees of Samsung Electronics, Chevron, Air Astana, SpetsTransExpress, Oriflame, ADD Capital, Saks Fifth Avenue, Antlia LLP and personally to Anvar Kuvandykov. Many thanks to Kaspi Bank, Qazkom, Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, the MAMMA MIA restaurant chain, the Starbucks coffeehouse chain, Keruen City, MEGA Park, Wonder Park EVRIKUM, Astana Marriot hotel, KFC fast food restaurant, Anderson family cafe & confectionary, Swiss Perfection beauty center. Many thanks for the home delivery of gifts to Post Express and Garant Post Service courier companies. Together we performed a real miracle for boys and girls, as well as their parents.

Our magic project ‘Letter to Ded Moroz’ has come to an end. Pupils of special (correctional) boarding schools, orphanages, as well as homeschooling children with disabilities had written letters to Ded Moroz. AYALA Foundation decorated Christmas trees in public places with those letters. Anyone could choose an envelope, read a letter and put in money for a gift to a child or purchase a gift on their own.

This time we received 722 letters from children from different institutions:

Boarding school No. 1 in Almaty for children with hearing impairment - 57 children from 1 to 4 forms;

Boarding school No. 7 in Almaty for children with intellectual development disorders - 173 children from 1 to 4 forms;

Republican special boarding school in Esik for children with vision impairment - 76 children from 1 to 4 forms;

Homeschooling disabled children of Bostandyk district - 46 children from 6 to 13 years old;

Homeschooling disabled children of Turksib district - 69 children from 6 to 13 years old;

Special correctional boarding school in Astana for children with intellectual development disorders - 140 children;

Children with special needs in Almaty - 150 children from 3 to 18 years old;

Patients of the children's department of the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology - 11 children from 3 to 16 years old;

Also New Year's surprises and gifts were prepared for children who for various reasons could not write letters to Ded Moroz:

Disabled children in Almaty under care of the Association of Parents of Disabled Children - 150 children;

Specialized complex ‘Zhanuya’ - 65 homeschooling disabled children;

Almaty city children's psycho-neurological boarding house  - 150 children;

Disabled children of Turksib district - 67 children under 6 years old and from 14 to 17 years old

In total, 1,144 children of Almaty and Astana were involved in the New Year's events. 

Having become traditional, pre-New Year campaign was held for the sixth year in a row. According to the results of 6 years of the project existence, 2,493 children received gifts from a good wizard. Many thanks to all the participants of our project. Let's continue to do good deeds together!
