Traditionally on the eve of the holidays sponsors and patrons of art visit orphanages with presents. Our foundation tries to cover as many children as possible in the holidays; we visit pupils of correctional boarding schools, where children with various disabilities - speech, hearing, and mental development - study. There is a separate category of children who due to their health condition are not able to attend school and receive education at home. AYALA Foundation and Samsung Company invited such children from the Association of Parents of Disabled Children to the New Year celebration. The Association was established in December 1991 by a group of enthusiastic parents, united by a common destiny and the desire to help their children.
KIMEP University has kindly provided us with a beautiful assembly hall, where 150 children could gather together with their parents. Actors of Murat Muturganov show New Year’s Minecraft performed for the children on stage. All spectators were fascinated by actions on the stage - incredible tricks, virtuoso jugglers, brave acrobats left nobody indifferent. After the spectacular show Ded Moroz and Snegurochka came out to the children to give presents. The youngest ones received interactive toys, which can tell a lot of interesting things and communicate with a child. A little bit older children received interactive ABC-books that will help them learn the alphabet, numbers, color names and just teach funny songs and proverbs.
In addition, these children received cars with magic tracks, and girls were presented with talking dolls. Children from 7 to 12 years old received Angry Birds pillows and sets of modern plasticine, molding will develop fine motor skills, sense organs and coordination of movements of a child. The older girls were presented with paintings by numbers, and boys – Lego sets. In addition, each child received a candy kit and a delicious burger menu. The budget of the project was 1 959 404 KZT.
Children, who could not attend the show, did not leave without gifts. Thanks to the management of Post Express Company, 23 children received their New Year's gifts with home delivery. Couriers of the company delivered the gifts in the Pre-New Year's days for free.
Parents warmly thanked the hosts of the event for such a large number of gifts and the fabulous show. And we, in turn, want to say many thanks to Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia, without their sponsor's help this event could not have taken place. Special thanks to Post Express Company and KIMEP University, who helped us with the organization, together we created a real holiday.
