In the framework of the project "Special Attention for Special Children" of AYALA Charity Fund the social and domestic orientation room and the sewing workshop were upgraded in the regional boarding school for children with intellectual disorders in Esik city.

In the room of social and domestic orientation the pupils of the orphanage learn to cook, lay the table, clean up the apartment and, in particular, use advanced home appliances in the kitchen. These skills will be useful for them not only in the future, when the children leave the orphanage, but also during various holidays. After all, treats seem tastier if the children cooked them themselves.

Also the sewing workshop of the orphanage was upgraded, for this purpose advanced sewing machines and other necessary things have been purchased.

AYALA Charity Foundation was engaged in selecting and purchasing equipment and kitchen appliances. The necessary funds - 1 000 000 tenge - were allocated by Oriflame Company.

It should be noted that it is not the first joint project of AYALA Fund and Oriflame Company. Every year the cosmetics manufacturer allocates a certain amount for charity. Earlier, the company equipped the social and domestic orientation rooms in the orphanage No. 1 in Almaty region and in the special boarding school for children with severe speech disorders, and also equipped the sewing workshop and hairdresser's studio in the Special Educational Organization for children with deviant behavior. This year it was decided to help the regional boarding school for children with intellectual disorders in Esik City.

"Training in self-service skills is very important in the future successful socialization of pupils of boarding schools and preparation for an independent adult life," the president of AYALA Foundation Aidan SULEIMENOVA noted.
