Tug-of-war, aviation show and delicious kozhe turned an ordinary Saturday into a big spring festival. This year AYALA Charity Foundation and Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia organized the traditional celebration of Nauryz in Arman Dala children camp. 170 pupils of boarding schools for children with intellectual development disorders in Kaskelen and Esik cities were invited there.
The celebration program included participation of the children in master classes in coinage, bracelets engraving, felt and pottery, and poker drawing. Boys were happily demonstrating their skills in asik and tiyin salu games.
On this day the pupils of the boarding schools learned about the national falconry, they could pet the birds of prey, talk with real batyrs and watch battle of palauans.
The children were very impressed by the colorful show "Anrakay". With drums beating eight warriors with torches came out to the center of a court and showed how the warriors of the Dzungar and the Kazakh Khanate fought during the Anrakay battle. Everything that happened on the stage was accompanied by tales of those historical events. The performance involved actors and stuntmen. Besides traditional entertainment the children watched the aviation show.
It should be noted that Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia and AYALA Charity Foundation have been cooperating for the fourth year already. Over this time many different festive events for children were held and a large number of projects were implemented.
"For several years now we have been partners of various events for children and we are pleased to see that children get sincere joy and pleasure from them. Today, though with a little delay, we celebrated Nauryz together. The children saw and learned many new and interesting things, and also could personally participate in everything.
Samsung, as a major player in the electronics market, also acts as an active socially conscious member of our society and conducts many social and charitable projects. We will continue to plan such events in future, "said Berik Umarov, public relations and corporate social responsibility manager at Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia.
In turn, President of AYALA Charity Fund Aidan Suleimenova noted: "Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia is a long-standing and reliable partner of our fund. We like that our cooperation is multifaceted. This is financial support for projects, items charity, volunteer initiatives, and vocational guidance programs for teenagers. We are sure that the activity of Samsung in the field of charity is a vivid example for all businessmen in Kazakhstan. An example of indifference and responsibility. "
