Today, in the Republican special boarding school of Esik town for visually impaired children an event dedicated to the Nauryz spring holiday held.

During the implementation of the “AYALA + SAMSUNG” project a social and domestic orientation classroom is fully equipped. Social and domestic orientation in the past was the "Housekeeping" subject of a school program. In these classrooms pupils of boarding schools learn to cook, lay the table, clean up in the kitchen and in the apartment and use modern appliances. For this the "AYALA" charity foundation and the Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia company equipped classrooms of social and domestic orientation (SDO) with everything needed. Kitchen furniture, dining table and living room were made. The Samsung Electronics company handed to the boarding school a complete set of home appliances. In addition, for maximum comfort cookware, cutlery, tablecloths, napkins, towels and everything needed for full work in the kitchen were purchased. Palladium restaurant complex also attended the event and gave to the boarding school a large set of serving dishes.

During the holiday in the fully equipped SDO classroom a master class of a famous chef of the “Come In” restaurant Roman DUBNITSKY held. The chef told the children that the favorite "fast food" can be healthy and taught participants to prepare homemade burgers quickly and without significant costs. In addition, Roman and the famous radio and TV presenter Diana SNEGINA shared with guests her advices on nutrition.

While the older children prepared treats at the master class, a complete circus performance was prepared for kids of the boarding school. Artists from the Almaty State Circus - a cheerful clown, enchanting magician, fascinating acrobats, and trained animals visited children.

“Nauryz  is a spring holiday of family, traditions, culture, so today we wanted to organize a truly family holiday. In large families, it is assumed that the older teach the younger, together cooked treats and playing traditional games. The organization of such events has become a tradition in the Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia company. Many orphanages, hospitals and boarding schools in Kazakhstan have already received SDO classrooms as a gift from the company. We believe that such projects help children to understand better and to honor family values”, - said Gulzhamal ISAEVA, manager of corporate social responsibility of the Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia company.

Director of the boarding school Gulnar UTEPBERGENOVA said: “Our boarding school was opened in 2012 and is not yet fully equipped, so the classroom of social and domestic orientation has become for us a very pleasant surprise. It is particularly pleased that the classroom is equipped with the most advanced appliances from the Samsung company. On behalf of all of our pupils and teaching staff I wish to sincerely thank the "AYALA" foundation and the Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia company for attention, understanding and solution of our problems”.

"In my opinion, teaching children the self-service skills is very important for subsequent successful socialization of boarding schools’ pupils. Preparation for independent adult life and familiarity with the principles of healthy and budget nutrition, I think will be very useful both for children and for teachers”, - said the vice president of public relations Zhangeldy SARSENOV.
