The pop group«Turan» gave a concert in the boarding school №4 for the blind and the visually impaired children. All members of the group «Turan» are the undergraduates of Kazakh National Conservatoire after Kurmangazy. The group plays the old national instruments and besides the reproducing sounds from the instruments, they want to find their new perception.

Although the children from the boarding school №4 are deprived of eyesight their other sense receptors are more sharpened especially they have keen ear. Many of them attend musical societies and so the boys and girls are very sensitive to music. All employees and school children have warmly welcomed the group «Turan». At the end of the concert they loudly applauded and did not want to let them go.

And now a little story about the group. In spring 2010 they have presented their first CD album.  In July 2010, the group «Turan» were awarded by the grant of the Foundation of the First President of Republic of Kazakhstan and now they have recorded the next CD and the audience is waiting impatiently for its presentation.
