Today an unusual excursion was held in the five-star hotel The Ritz-Carlton. The hotel of well-known international network opened its doors to 20 boys and girls of 7-8 classes from special (correctional) boarding school №9 for children with severe speech disorders in Almaty. This excursion was initiated by the hotel administration. In such an unusual form the luxury hotel decided to take part in charity.

 The excursion to the hotel rooms has been prepared for these children who were divided into 2 groups. They visited a de luxe suite, a presidential suite and saw all hotel’s luxury with their own eyes. Our guides – the Senior Sales Manager Elena Mayorova and Senior Specialist for banquets and conferences Aibek Nurzhanov told fascinating stories about people who stayed in the luxury rooms, history of the network Ritz-Calton and continents continent or countries where these hotels are located. In addition, children found out about the origin of the bath delivered to the presidential suite and room service facilities. The children sat down at the negotiating table installed in the presidential suite and felt themselves as if they were real hotel guests.

But the main decoration of the Ritz-Carlton hotel rooms is, of course, a fascinating view from the window. Children were able to enjoy fully our wonderful mountains and scenery of the city, so much the more this day the weather was clear and sunny to the delight of everybody. 

The children asked a lot of questions to their tour guides such as: "How can I get a job in the hotel?", "Which university you should finish to work here?", "What celebrities have stayed at the hotel?", "How much does it cost to stay in this hotel?" and many other questions. Our guides in detailed and entertaining manner answered all the questions.

The children were very impressed by the excursion. They had much fun taking pictures and doing selfies. At the end of the excursion each group received a gift - a box of sweets, because one of the principles of the Ritz-Carlton Almaty hotel is that "no one goes away from our hotel without a gift."

On behalf of the pupils of the boarding school №9 we would like to sincerely thank the administration and staff of the hotel for opening another form of charity for us. Perhaps, this excursion will motivate some pupils to develop their own dreams and aims in their lives.
