The medical specialists from South Korea came to Almaty and gave hope to dozens of little patients to recover. For two days the children were examined on a basis of the Center of children’s emergency medical care. Such professional medical specialists as neurosurgeon Jaeil Lee, orthopedist Jung Sub Lee and a family doctor Jeong Gyu Lee devoted a lot of their own time to each child. The specialists from the Hospital of Pusan National University gave free consultation to 60 children with various pathologies, in total.

During their presence in Almaty the doctors from South Korea also got familiar with the work of the Center, concluded a cooperation agreement between Kazakhstan and Korean medical organizations, conducted lectures for Kazakh colleagues. At the end of their work in Almaty the medical specialists will decide what children from Kazakhstan should be operated for free in Pusan.

It should be noted that the Hospital of Pusan National University was elected as an executive institution for realization of the project offered by Ministry of Public Health and Wealth of South Korea on the development of the leading regional medical technologies. The project was planned for two years. The next arrival of the specialists from South Korea to Kazakhstan is expected to be in autumn, 2016.
