The cooperation of the “AYALA” charity foundation and Pusan National University Hospital (PNUH)...

The cooperation of the “AYALA” charity foundation and Pusan National University Hospital (PNUH) is moving to a new level. As previously reported, this summer 80 children with various pathologies were examined free at Almaty Regional Children's Clinical Hospital in Otegen Batyr village. Professor of Orthopedic Surgery from South Korea Mr. Jung Sub Lee recommended a correction surgery to a girl with a neglected form of scoliosis. Within the framework of the joint project of Korea Health Industry Development Institute and “Free Medicine” of PNUH it was proposed to perform a surgery on the child at the mentioned hospital, which is one of the leading orthopedic clinics in the world. Minimally invasive surgery has been successful. The girl gained weight and growth. It should be noted that already 200 Kazakhstani children have received a free consultation of specialists from Busan.

Medical care in South Korea is one of the leading in the world. Not for nothing this country is a world center of medical tourism. From August 31 to September 3 Busan International Medical Tourism Convention (BMTC) conference was held at Pusan National University Hospital (PNUH). The head physician of Almaty Regional Children's Clinical Hospital Rolan Nurbayev and his deputy for clinical care Arman Toybekov have attended the conference. We would like to remind that “AYALA” charity foundation cooperates with PNUH since 2016.

Professors orthopedist and neurosurgeon, family doctor and health administrator repeatedly came to Kazakhstan and consulted children. In turn, Kazakhstan orthopedists and neurosurgeons took refresher courses at the famous clinic.

Also two pediatric orthopedists and a neurosurgeon from Almaty Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, as well as a neurosurgeon from the Center of Children's Emergency Medical Care were sent to the above-mentioned hospital for internship. The implementation of this project was made possible due to the partnership of the “AYALA” foundation with LCB Partners Company and the mayor's office of Busan.
