Another master class of doctors from South Korea was held in Almaty. Professors of Pusan National University Hospital, orthopedists Lee Jung Sub and Park Wonseok operated three children with various pathologies - they treated congenital defects in the spine and lower extremities of a child with cerebral palsy.

During the visit the doctors of Pusan National University Hospital examined 15 children and selected three of them for surgical treatment. The children came to the consultation from Kyzylorda, Zhambyl and Almaty regions and Almaty.

The operations were performed on a child from Kyzylorda region, born in 2014, with cerebral palsy, a short calcaneal tendon on the left, and two children diagnosed with congenital muscle torticollis - a child, born in 2014, from Almaty and a boy, born in 2005, from Almaty region.

Orthopedic professor Lee Jung Sub is an ambassador of AYALA Charity Foundation and this was his fifth visit to Kazakhstan. Before he only consulted children and took patients to operate on them in Busan. This time the professors operated in Almaty.

Kazakhstani doctors assisted and watched the process, learned the peculiarities of working procedures of Korean colleagues. The master class was held at Aksay clinic of Kazakh National Medical University named after S. Asfendiyarov. During the winter visit the topics of the upcoming master classes and trainings were identified, which, according to South Korean experts, are very relevant for Kazakhstani doctors.
