Today a solemn ceremony of transferring of home appliances from the Samsung Electronics Company held in hematology department of the republican children's "Alatau" sanatorium. This event was a part of a two-year collaboration of the "AYALA" charity foundation and the Samsung Electronics Company. In the framework of the project entitled “AYALA + SAMSUNG” were equipped rooms of socio-consumer orientation in special (correctional) boarding schools in the cities of Almaty and Issyk. A large number of TV sets were transferred to the republican “Aksai” hospital, city children's hospitals and orphanages of the Almaty.

Cooking surface, oven, extractor hood, large refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning were transferred today to the children’s hematology department. Children from all over Kazakhstan are undergoing rehabilitation and rest from a heavy chemotherapy in this department. They are on long-term treatment with parents. Home appliances from the Samsung have become a major contribution to ensuring the comfort of staying maximally close to home.

The director of the “Alatau” sanatorium Kanshayym Kayyrlyevna MUSAYEVA remarked: "We are very pleased by the attention of the “AYALA” charity foundation. With the participation of the foundation a colorful playgrounds appeared on our territory. A month has not passed since the foundation transferred to the hematology department spacious, comfortable and modern shower cabin. Mommies of children were very pleased. And today we have all to improve the life of children and their carers. We have just begun to dream of full kitchen equipment, as we got a call from the "AYALA" foundation with a proposal of the Samsung equipment. I want to sincerely thank the foundation and Samsung Company for the necessary and very useful gifts".

"We have not been more than for two months at home and, frankly, very tired of the hospital environment.  We would like to thank the members of our department and the Samsung Company for that they are doing everything possible to ensure that we for a little while plunged into a homely atmosphere. Here in the sanatorium, both we and our children really rest", - said one of the mothers, located in the department of hematology with her child.

We hope that the transmitted appliances will make the stay of children and their parents in the sanatorium maximally comfortable and close to the home environment.  We wish a speedy convalescence and good health for children", - said Ardak ZHAKEZHANOVA, manager of corporate social responsibility of the Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia company.  

Our foundation has for more than seven years working with children's medical educational institutions, and we see how useful is the full equipment of socio-consumer orientation rooms in boarding schools. And without TVs in children's hospitals, children and their parents would “howled” from boredom. I once again want to thank the Samsung Electronics Company and hope that our cooperation will continue for more than a year", - said vice-president of the “AYALA” charity foundation Zhangeldy SARSENOV.
