In late April three energetic young women living in Astana turned to our foundation with the proposal of the charity fair of children's art works to raise money for the "Health of the nation begins with a maternity hospital" project. Within the framework of this project is planned to acquire a noninvasive bilirubin levels analyzer of newborns in perinatal center #1 in Astana. This BiliChek apparatus allow determining the presence of jaundice without taking blood tests what is particularly important for preterm infants. Timely diagnosis of jaundice allows starting treatment that does not let to develop toxic brain damage in children. Cost of the BiliChek device is 1 104 000 tenge.

Paintings and crafts were provided by pupils from a variety of schools of Astana. Within 2 weeks an informational support of the charitable action was exercised by Autoradio, in the broadcast of which sounded announcements of the fair. Videos of the event and its purpose were shown on the displays in the Keruen mall and LED displays on the streets. Finale action was fair, which took place in the "Keruen" mall on the 17^th of May, starting from 11:00. During the fair a big charity concert of children's music groups hosted. The concert was also attended by well-known artists of Kazakhstan. Yerlan Kokeyev proudly announced that he was pleased to become a volunteer of the known throughout Kazakhstan "AYALA" charity foundation.

The purpose of the action, organized by Zhanar Sarsenova, Gulnara Bisarinova and Zhanar Burahan was achieved. With the help of sponsors, donations to the boxes and directly charity fair of children's works 1 097 400 tenge were collected. Representative of the perinatal center #1 in Astana was awarded a certificate to the BiliChek device which will be purchased by our foundation.     

Pleased, that the initiative to hold a charity event was not from the foundation, but from caring young mothers. This is a further evidence of the successful implementation of the core mission of the "AYALA" charity foundation - education of traditions and culture of philanthropy in Kazakhstan.
