Hundreds of national cuisine and costumes, performances of actors, degustation of drinks and many other things. On International Day the pupils, their parents and just the guests of Almaty International School didn’t have time to be dull. There were representatives of 40 countries on the holiday. All of them told about their traditions and culture this day.

On this holiday everyone who wished to do so, could make his own contribution to the realization of the charity projects of “AYALA” foundation in Almaty regional orphanage #2: “Skilled Hands” and “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body”. 76 children are taught in the institution. In order to help children find work after finishing the school, the teachers impart labour skills to them. For this purpose it is necessary to equip a sewing workshop for girls with the required facilities. The total cost of the project is 321,500 tenge. Besides, it is planned to buy table and sports playing sets, exercycle, wall bars and lots of other things to the orphanage. The total cost of the equipment is 356,100 tenge.
