Show of illusionists, sea of ice cream and surprises! Almaty hosted a holiday Balmuz Day. This day in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation children from over the city have gathered. There were our wards - pupils of «SOS Children's Village Almaty" among the children as well. 30 boys and girls watched with delight the scenes on the stage. The whole day Muturganov and Balmuzdashka - the little snow man – entertained little guests. They were helped by Polar Bear Cub, Snegovichok, Pingvinenok and the Girl from Alaska. They showed where the most delicious ice cream was sold and even told how to eat it correctly not to get sick.

The festival has also submitted to Almaty residents’ approval a gastronomic delicacy - the first truly Kazakh ice cream made from kumys - Kum Ice. The arrival of students from «SOS Children's Village Almaty" was organized by the advertising agency “Fine Design” and the charity foundation "AYALA", whereas the company Shin-Line performed as a sponsor. It is the largest ice cream and packaged milk producer in Kazakhstan. The boys went on the rides for free and enjoyed the taste of real ice cream. The total amount of 85 754 KZT was gathered at the festival in support of this establishment’s children. The entire amount will be directed to the needs of the children.
