A charity fair of children handcrafts was held in hotels “Almaty”, “Intercontinental”, “Hyatt Regency”, “Rixos”, “Astana” from 17^th of March to 7^th of April. Since January 2010 students of city orphanages № 1 and №2, regional orpahange №1, and special (remedial) boarding school №7 produced many beautiful and creative handcrafts from the materials and tools purchased by our foundation “AYALA”. They made national souvenirs, paintings, embroidery, notebooks, national covers (korpe) and wooden crafts.

As a result of the fair we collected more than 300 000 KZT. The winners of the fair, who made the most beautiful souvenirs, were determined in all the orphanages. “AYALA” foundation rewarded these children with two-day excursion to the capital of our motherland, Astana. We plan to hold such a fair in October of this year and time it to coincide with the Universal Children’s Day.
