Today the awarding certificates ceremony for the purchasing and installation of equipment for schools, medical and social institutions in the town, organized by the "Chevron" company in partnership with the "AYALA" charity foundation held. The ceremony was attended by akim of the town Toletay Mukhamedjanov, representatives of local government agencies, physicians, educators and the public of Ereymentau region.

As partof a social project, initiated by the "Chevron" company and the "AYALA" foundation in 2013, this year in Ereymentau solemnly opened a children's playground in the Akimat Park, chemistry cabinet were fully equipped and in the Kazakh middle school was set a playground; also medical equipment were purchased for the Central Regional Hospital (CRH), the Department of Social Security and Children youth school of the town. Furthermore, it a lifting device was purchased for unhindered movement of people with disabilities on the floors of CRH clinic.

According to the Deputy Managing Director of the Eurasian division of the "Chevron" company Frank Cassulo, "From the earliest days of work in the Republic of Kazakhstan the "Chevron" company supports educational, health and social institutions of the republic. As part of our social project in the past year, we have purchased interactive whiteboards for 30 schools in the region; bought a modern operating equipment and apparatus for CRH and passed 15 wheelchairs and special accessories for Еreymentau residents. We plan to continue this work in the future".

The “Chevron” corporation is oneof the leading integrated energy companies in the world and the largest private oil and gas company in Kazakhstan.  Expanding the scope of its activities and supporting the initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the development of renewable energy, the "Chevron" is currently working on a project to build a wind "Samal" farm in Ereymentau region.

The “Chevron” annually conducts humanitarian actions, which allowed updating inventory, acquiring the necessary medication, computers and other equipment to medical and social institutions of Almaty, Astana and Atyrau cities. These initiatives are being implemented in partnership with local and central government authorities, communities, non-governmental and international organizations.

For several years, the "Chevron" company successfully cooperates with the "AYALA" charity foundation, known for its large-scale charity projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main focus of the foundation is to help the children's medical and educational institutions: hospitals, clinics, maternity hospitals, health centers, orphanages, correctional kindergartens and boarding schools, and boarding schools for children from low-income families.
