Today, the first meeting of Public Council for protection of patients’ rights under the guidance of the Ministry of Health care of Republic of Kazakhstan has been held in Astana.  The members of the Council are honourable medical scholars, public agencies and representatives of non-profit sector. We are pleased to note that our foundation representative also has been invited to the Public Council. 

Zhangeldy Sarsenov, our vice-president, represents the foundation “AYALA” in the Council. He is a doctor by his profession. Therefore, he is familiar with the subjects of discussions.  The subject of the first meeting was the situation with sickness rate of viral hepatitis types B and C. Due to that the meeting has been held in the Republican Blood Centre. It is planned to hold the Council meetings once a quarter and discuss the most essential issues.
