Republican stage of "Breathe, baby" project of "AYALA" charity foundation is going on. On 6th of March, 2012 a staff of foundation transferred to the children's intensive care unit of the Atyrau regional maternity hospital the following equipment: CPAP breathing devices, resuscitation tables, syringe dispensers, fetal monitors, an X-ray device and irreplaceable 7S detectors to ultrasound devices for newborn babies.
"AYALA" Foundation tries to maintain the principle of the systemacy in all its projects. We have already transferred contemporary equipment to the regional prenatal centers in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey and Karaganda. The next beneficiary was Atyrau. Within the framework of this project not only medical institutions receive assistance in the form of vital medical equipment, but neonatologists will practice in the Kharkov Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in a course "First aid to newborn babies in obstetric care facilities". General sponsor of this project is the company “ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc.”, the world leader in oil and gas industry; partner of the project is Kazakhstan's national air carrier “Air Astana”.
The cost of transferred equipment to reanimation department of Atyrau regional prenatal center was 22 415 919 KZT. Doctors from Regional Maternity Hospital, which is an institution of tertiary (third level of medical care) care, noted that the transferred equipment was really vital for the children care with extremely low body weight. We are confident that the equipment, transferred to Atyrau regional prenatal center, will help to many people to know the pleasure of motherhood and fatherhood.
