Our foundation has recently acquired a very good partner - the British-Kazakh Society (BKS). "AYALA" charity foundation has already held one fund-raising event for the project "Breathe, baby" with the BKS. Marat Bisengaliyev’s concert was performed a month ago.

In Great Britain the Queen-mother is adored, and for the sake of her reign’s 60th anniversary or the “diamond” anniversary as it is often called by press, and in these days citizens of the kingdom arrange sumptuous feasts all over the world. The celebration of the anniversary in Almaty has been organized by BKS. Traditional British dishes, sandwiches, drinks and sweets have been specially brought from Britain. Almost all the subjects of the Queen, who currently live and work in Almaty, attended the festivity.

Celebration has been held in a traditionally funny British style. Professional musicians and students of the Haileybury Almaty School, where the event took place, both have performed at the concert. A charity lottery has been held and all collected money has been transferred to our foundation. During the lottery, the participants of the party have contributed a sum of 100 500 KZT for the project "Breathe, baby".

Heavy rainfall has become a special "decoration" of the festivity covering the party guests in a few seconds. The British noticed that it has felt like a real London rain. No one have got upset, just the celebration have been moved into the school. Most of the guests have preferred the British-flag-colored clothes, because the British are very fond of not only their queen, of their flag, but also of their motherland.

This year, BKS plans to hold the fourth charity semi-marathon in Astana, and all funds collected during the race, are also going to be spent on the project "Breathe, baby". The next town, which Perinatal Center will receive modern medical equipment for the children’s reanimation unit, is Petropavlovsk. The detailed information can be found on the site dedicated to the semi-marathon: http://www.bksoc-marathon.org.uk/rus/default.aspx.

Our foundation sincerely thanks all the people who work in the BKS. Many of them are ex-citizens of Kazakhstan or our fellow citizens studying in the universities of Great Britain. In this country, a level of charity is one of the highest in the world.
