A competition of cooks organized by the British-Kazakh Society has been held in the Hotel “Intercontinental” today. The purpose of this competition is updating the Kazakh cuisine; the prize will be a gastronomic trip to London (visiting star restaurants, meetings with top chefs and trips to farmers' markets). The competition is planned to be convertes into an annual event. Gauhar Bramley-Fenton, an executive director of BKS, invited our foundation for inttoduction to guests of the dinner. 

110 000 KZT has been raised in our box set during the event. We plan to invest the money into the project "Breathe, baby" Petropavlovsk. 

Three Kazakh chefs cooked their dishes for 120 guests and for a special jury - author's interpretation of Kazakh cuisine. Aydin Nursapinov, Bakhyt Areenov, Arken Azheipov have participated in the competition of this year. At the end the jury has awarded the victory to Bakhyt Arinov after tasting and consideration. Our foundation is pleased that all the events organized by BKS, along with their direct purpose, are almost always have a charitable nature.
