In the Almaty regional children’s hospital a new medical equipment has appeared. Thanks to the clients of Private Banking JSC “ATF Bank” the financial resources were collected and two resuscitation tables were bought at the expense of 3 302 000 tenge. Moreover, at the expense of the money collected by visitors of pizzeria networks Ciao Pizza and “Mamamia” two phototherapy machines were bought at the cost of  1 100 000 tenge.

The new equipment has become an original pre-New Year present for the Almaty regional children’s hospital. Now there are about twenty people in the department of infant and premature babies. According to the words of specialists at least 10 resuscitation tables should be allocated for these children. There was only one table in the hospital. Meanwhile the resuscitation table is of vital necessity for taking care of the infants, it is a source of warmth and comfort. Concerning the phototherapy machines which are aimed at treating infants’ hepatitis it was found out that there was no any phototherapy machine in the hospital. Although every second child who entered into the department of pathologies suffers from this disease, as it is reported by medical staff.  

The equipment was bought and provided by the charity foundation “AYALA” in the frameworks of the project “Breathe new life”. Let us remind that this project is directed towards providing help to the intensive care units of children’s hospitals in Kazakhstan. It has been already started since 2007 when the foundation “AYALA” helped in providing the medical equipment to the intensive care unit of the children’s city inflectional hospital of Almaty. With the help of modern equipment the medical specialists managed to decrease the death rate of children in four times. In 2011 it was decided to  expand the geographical limitations of project outside the boundaries of Almaty. In the JSC “ATF Bank” the project “Breathe new life” was launched in September this year. Referring to the words of managing director and member of the Board of JSC “ATF Bank” Gulnara Balakhmetova the bank clients immediately accepted the offer to take part in the project. Thanks to their active position an opportunity to grant resuscitation tables to the children’s hospital appeared. The collection of money will be continued and as soon as the necessary medical equipment is accumulated the financial means will be transferred to the hospital, - added Gulnara Balakhmetova.
