Certificates, smiles, congratulations. Now Kazakhstan doctors have one more opportunity to exchange international experience, obtain new knowledge and apply it on practice. In Almaty the attendants of the training courses held by a famous Lithuanian doctor Arunas Luybshis and a nurse Dangute Mauritsaite were solemnly congratulated on. For a whole week the specialists conducted training seminars for obstetrician-gynaecologists, neonatologists, medical nurses of the infant departments of maternity hospitals and perinatal centers in Almaty city. Lithuanian medical specialists told about their job difficulties on the basis of the Almaty Center of perinatology and children’s cardiosurgery.

The guests’ visit was organized by the charity foundation “AYALA” in the sponsor’s support of “Chevron” company. It’s not the first time when Lithuanian specialists visit the Southern capital. According to the words of Kazakh colleagues, after each meeting with the international experts in the medical sphere the efficiency of medical practice is only rising. According to the results of the last medical lectures it became possible to dramatically decrease the infants’ death rate.

Let us remind that for the last 10 years Arunas Lybshis as an expert of WHO/UNICEF conducted a lot of seminars and lectures in the CIS countries. In the Lithuanian Center of neonatology managed by Arunas Lyubshis good results were achieved: the infants’ perinatal death rate and childhood invalidism decreased.
