At the beginning of May of this year a 5-years-old girl was taken in a grave condition to Children’s infectious deseases hospital №1. A sick girl was placed to intensive care unit at once. Toxic encephalitis caused cramps which turned into epistasus, characterized by attacks of epileptic type following in succession. The little patient’s life was under a serious threat.
Doctors along with complex intensive medicinal therapy had to connect the girl to the artificial ventilation apparatus, which was quite recently presented to the hospital by our foundation. After 7 days during which a "machine" breathed for a girl, the patient’s state became better. She was able to breathe independently and soon the girl was transferred into an ordinary care unit.

Then, as doctors marked, without the exhalation system "Savina" the girl’s chances for survival were none. This was a prime example of help of all peoplewho assisted our foundation to collect money for the newest equipment. It is not the first patient whom the equipment presented by us helped to survive, but still this was the hardest case.
