In the maternity hospital №1 in Almaty city a ceremony of granting a large qunatity of medical equipment for the children's intensive care unit was held. This is the next stage of the project "Breathe a new life" of the charitable foundation "AYALA". In the frameworks of this project a modern vital equipment was provided to resuscitation regional multi-field and children's hospitals, children's resuscitation departments of maternity hospitals located in different regions of Kazakhstan.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Halyk Bank 3 medical aspirators, 6 phototherapy devices, 4 resuscitation tables and 1 patient’s monitor WM3 appeared in the children's intensive care unit of maternity hospital № 1, located in the heart of Almaty. Sometimes it may be impossible to clear the airways of the newly born child without medical aspirators in order to make the child start breathing. The phototherapy devices help to treat without drugs the newborn jaundice, which may cause central nervous system disturbance. Resuscitation tables support the baby's body temperature automatically at the right level, and this is especially important for premature babies who still are not able to provide the required level of the body temperature. Patient’s monitor WM3 will help the medical staff to monitor multiple parameters of the vital activity of the tiny patient of resuscitation, such as pulse, blood pressure, temperature, blood rate of oxygen saturation.

The cost of this global project amounts to 10,871,075 tenge. Let us recall that the sponsor of this project was Halyk Bank, which has again confirmed its name “People’s”.

A deputy chief doctor of maternity hospital №1 Zaure Dathaeva thanked warmly the representatives of Halyk Bank and the foundation "AYALA" for providing support in equipping the children's intensive care unit with the really vital equipment.

All implemented projects such as "Breathe a new life", "Breathe, baby", "Health of the nation begins with a maternity hospital" proved their highest efficiency long before and they saved hundreds of children's lives,"- said the vice-president of the charitable foundation "AYALA" Zhangeldy Sarsenov.
