The Association of Charity Foundations among the “group” supporting children’s heart surgery in our Republic with charity foundations “DARA” and “VOM” presented «Equator» device for National Scientific Center of Cardio Surgery named after A. N. Syzganov. The cost of the equipment is 762 125 KZT.We have collected these funds together and we want to thank everybody who helped us!

This device of convection type is essential in the post-operative period for young patients with very different pathologies.“Smart blankets” with servo control supports the body temperature of patients who are unable yet to do it by themselves and after heavy operations as well.This is especially important in cardiac surgery for children under one year or a little older. Previously, such children were warmed by old rubber heaters and electric heaters.

The new equipment is a small step in the development of children’s heart surgery in our country. With your help and those who are constantly helping charity organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan we will make medicine for our children better and thus will make a meaningful contribution to the future of our country.
